    We specialise in all musculoskeletal(MSK) problems and have been looking after the people of Sussex for more than 100 years.

     

    • Our Initial Physio appointments are now 45 minutes and only £60 - book today.
    • Over 30% of all consults to the GP is for MSK issues and as you will have no doubt found out, its pretty difficult these days to get to see your GP so we are being kept pretty busy.

    The Alexander Technique is a long established and proven method of alleviating the pain associated with your posture and the way in which you move.

    You learn to help yourself with improved postural and movement skills. Other benefits include freer breathing, better balance, less stress and a feeling of well-being.

  • What happens in a session?

    An Alexander teacher uses explanation and a gentle guiding touch to encourage a greate state of ease, poise, and freedom in breathing and in movement.

    You are guided into letting go of unhelpful postural and movement habits.

    Your self-awareness develops and you learn the skills to continue the positive changes that occur within the sessions.

  • How often and how many sessions?

    Alexander sessions are tailored to suit your individual needs.

    They are one-to-one, 40 minute sessions.

    The number of lessons you have depends on your rate of personal change.

    Usually clients come weekly to begin with and then space out the sessions as the skills to be able to maintain the changes are learnt.
