Counselling offers a supportive relationship in which you can learn to do things differently. A place to explore what troubles you that is safe and non-judgemental. A place where you can learn to (re)connect with your inner-resources and use these to bring about change.
Within the context of a safe and therapeutic environment, you will be encouraged to become curious about what is happening for you in the present moment, bringing together how you are in your body, your feelings and your thoughts, and guiding you to explore and express these. Although the work is primarily rooted in talking therapies, we may also be creative, including therapeutic exercises and mindfulness to facilitate experience and exploration.
