  • What happens in a session?

    An Alexander teacher uses explanation and a gentle guiding touch to encourage a greate state of ease, poise, and freedom in breathing and in movement.

    You are guided into letting go of unhelpful postural and movement habits.

    Your self-awareness develops and you learn the skills to continue the positive changes that occur within the sessions.

  • How often and how many sessions?

    Alexander sessions are tailored to suit your individual needs.

    They are one-to-one, 40 minute sessions.

    The number of lessons you have depends on your rate of personal change.

    Usually clients come weekly to begin with and then space out the sessions as the skills to be able to maintain the changes are learnt.
